Outdoor Activities

Boat Trips - Boat trips available at £15 per adult, £10 per child. Haul a creel, or perhaps catch some seasonal mackerel.

You can take home some complimentary shellfish to cook for your tea, with cooking advice from your skipper, a fisherman from generations of fisher people.

Great photo opportunities, and excellent stories for the office.

Beachcombing - Redpoint, as visited by the Royal Yacht, is only a couple of miles away. You'll usually have the beach all to yourself!

Canoeing and Sea Kayaking - local knowledge and advice available at the pub. Storage shed available.

Clay Pigeon Shooting - at a local centre.

Climbing - guidebooks provided. Gairloch has an indoor climbing wall. You can also go mountaineering and Munro bagging from Dry Island!

Cycling - 2 bikes, helmets, locks, puncture repair kits all provided free of charge. Also there is a shed on the mainland for cycle storage.

Gym and Sports Centre - at Gairloch Leisure Centre where you can play basketball, badminton, 5-a-side football, or use the gym. There is also trampolining available.

Hot Toddy - or two in Ledmore Lodge (open all year) or Shaldy Lodge (5 miles away - open Apr-Oct)..

Local Library - at Gairloch for local history, books and free internet access.
